Final Fantasy XV | January 1, 2016 Final Fantasy XV confirmed for 2016
As a gift to gamers on New Year’s Day 2016 director Hajime Tabata as confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will be released in 2016. This of course is good news for gamers but we all know that release dates do get delayed. Final Fantasy XIV is an online MMO and Lighting Returns was released in November 2013 for Japan and February 2014 in Europe and North America. This means that it will be over two years since console games have had a Final Fantasy game in the main timeline. Remember Type-0 HD is a high-definition remaster version of a onetime Japan exclusive PlayStation Portable title. We are guessing that FFXV will be later in the year closer to the fall and holiday season and not a summer or spring title.
"We will finally release FFXV this year, in 2016!" Tabata said. "In development, previous phases required wisdom and strength. However, moving forward the final phase will focus on effort and willpower."
"I vow to you all that every member in the team will do their best to the very last possible moment taking responsibility and pride in their craft. We will do everything we can do to finish FFXV to create an experience we are incredibly proud of and one that you will enjoy and treasure."
"The whole FFXV team appreciates all of the support from each and everyone one of you this past year. I cannot tell you how much it means to all of us." Hajime Tabata
