Resident Evil Origins Collection News

Good news for the upcoming Resident Evil Origins Collections featuring both HD versions of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 pre orders are selling above expectations. The collection is set to be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2016. This could be even better news for Resident Evil Gamers because with the Resident Evil 2 already getting a remake, Code Veronica and Resident Evil 3 could be next!

Resident Evil 0 Official Announcement Trailer

It was just announced that Resident Evil 0 was going to get the same remastered HD update that the original Resident Evil got. Both games were GameCube exclusives and got a Wii updates but if are a Xbox Gamer or PlayStation Gamer then you did not get to play either of these games. There has not been an official released date given and no news is Nintendo Wii U gamers will be able to get their hands on this game but the new trailer does show how sharp Resident Evil 0 will look in HD.

Resident Evil 0 Remastered Announcement

Resident Evil 0 Remastered is getting a early 2016 released date for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360. Xbox One and PC. There was no mention on price points or a Nintendo Wii U version.
 
Resident Evil HD Remastered is currently the bestselling game in PlayStation Network history and made huge money for Capcom. Then when you include PC and Xbox sales of the game it is no surprise that another Resident Evil game is getting an HD treatment. Resident Evil 0 was an exclusive Nintendo GameCube title in 2002. But, sales of the GameCube were low overall. RE0 and the Resident Evil Remake were both given a Wii version that is also Wii U compatible but if you did not like the Wii controller then you may not have like the game that much on that system. Now gamers will get the chance to play or replay the game in HD and this may not be the last RE to be updated!
