All of us gamers at one time or another have wanted to make our own version of a Super Mario Bros game. Super Mario Maker give us that chance starting with the first early 8bit NES from the early 1990’s to the current version of New Super Mario Bros U. Mario Maker is 2D platformer that is has two main components to it. First, it lets you make any level you want any way you want in almost any style you want. And, second you get to have unlimited Super Mario levels to play for the rest of your life.

The main reason for this game is to allow fans of the Mario series to be as creative as they want by giving them the tools to build their own Mario levels. Nintendo has done an excellent job in making the interface in the level building easy and fun at the same time. It is a simple drag and drop system that works perfectly every time. It also allows you to jump between playing the level you created or are creating and playing it to test in out in an instant. There is no wait time at all while you are trying to perfect you creation. You also have the choice to try it out in different styles on the fly. If you created a level in Super Mario World then switch it over to New Super Mario Bros U style and try playing it that way. The amount of freedom and creativity is outstanding and if you are the type of person who likes creating your own games or are looking into video game development, Mario Maker is for you.

What is your favorite Mario Bros style of game? We ask because now you have as many levels to play as you want forever. Within a short period of time there were already millions of user created levels uploaded and ready for any to play or down load them to keep. Also if you have never played earlier versions of Mario games like Super Mario Bros 3 which was a 8bit NES title Super Mario World which was a 16bit Super Nintendo game you can now try them out and see if it is you type of game. Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario World are the blueprints that all 2D Mario platformers are based on. We highly recommend that you buy both of these game they are outstanding.

You get several dozen levels built in right from the start, so you almost get a full Mario game before you spend a single second building anything or downloading anything. You can’t count the amount of hours you could play in this game, like we said right now there are millions of used created levels to choose from. There is no story to play or overhead map to design your levels around and no 3D elements for you Mario 64 and Galaxy fans but the game does not need them and it does not feel like it is missing anything. Mario Maker will give you as many hours of gaming you want, tons of replay levels and you will always have something to play because of the user created content. Just could not stop playing and it is worth paying the brand new video game price of $60 for. It is worth buying right now.
