PlayStation Exclusive Title

Putting all of your favorite characters from the PlayStation universe may not be new but this game does it very well and keeps you interested. People have been waiting for this game for some time, it was worth it. The game starts out with the opening CGI cut scene it looks outstanding and the great graphics are present through the whole game. You get to see backgrounds from your favorite PlayStation games and the backgrounds are also interactive and change during fighting sequences. The game is so easy to pick up and play and is just simply fun. The engaging story mode for each character keeps the single player fighting interesting. You want to watch the cut scenes before you start and after you defeat the last enemy to find out how their story ends. The best parts about the single player campaign are the grudge matches. The second to the last fight in single player you get to fight your counterpart. We love Kratos from God of War vs Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and Sackboy from Little Big Planet vs Big Daddy from Bioshock.

Even with the very brilliant single player aspects the game is even better that with mutiplayer. This game brought us back before fighting games got so complicated that we no longer had time to figure them out (we are looking at you Virtual Fighter  4 Evolution).  A few simple combo moves and a few simple powered up super moves and we still get to have fun and a life, awesome! We did like the little things like original voice acting from the people who voiced the characters game franchisees.

The only problem we had was the thumb stick directional was a little slow. Many times we felt like we turned to attack someone and the attacking started before we turned to face our enemy. So you would just be hitting the air. It was a little problematic but we got the hang of it. Great fun, easy to pick up and play, one to four players and not to mention that if you play this game you get a free digital copy of PlayStation Allstars Battle Royale for the PlayStation Vita. If you have a PlayStation 3 and you are looking for an easy to pick up fighting game here you go. Repay and overall hours of gameplay are really high. Sony PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale is worth buying under the $40.00 price point.
